Dedicated to the memory of Pamela Joyce Roberts

This is in loving memory of Pamela Roberts.
Pam was born in Suffolk in 1935. Whilst Pam was still young, the family were evacuated to Kent where they settled and Pam spent most of her adult life. She met and married Brian and raised two daughters in Biggin Hill. Pam was a highly valued member of the village community and made many wonderful friends there.
In 2011, Pam moved to Cornwall and took Looe and the surrounding area into her heart; she made close friendships that were important to her.
Pam was very talented: she learned to pilot Tiger Moth aircraft as a member of the WAC; Pam was a keen painter, potter and loved sewing - she made clothes, soft toys and home furnishings and when Brian built their 14' sailing dingy (Pamela), Pam made the sails herself on her Singer sewing machine - they sailed it together on the Norfolk Broads and South coast. When she moved to Cornwall, Pam got the quilting bug - many friends and family are kept warm by her creations in the Winter months. Pam was also a musician and gained Grade VIII classical guitar at the age of 65! Pam's daughters and their friends fondly remember the delicious cakes she baked frequently.
With her enthusiasm for life and learning, Pam was an inspiration to her family and friends and she will be dearly missed by so many.
